LOS GRINGOS pronounced 'Green-go' is family-owned and operated.  Jared has worked in the landscaping trade for over 20 years.  He started Double Diamond Lawn & Garden in 2009 doing general lawn maintenance, then obtained his landscaping contractor's license and began Los Gringos Lawn & Landscape in 2011 with his wife, Jessica, who runs the office.  Jared is a strong supporter of protecting the environment and is committed to water-wise landscaping techniques and using plants appropriate for the Utah climate.  We put the 'GREEN' in Gringos as Utah's first company to use electric blowers, trimmers, edgers and chainsaws.  After several years of searching, Jared finally found a company that produced commercial electric mowers and with the help of the Utah Clean Air Partnership (UCAIR) Grant was able to purchase two electric mowers in 2016.  While we love the concept, the commercial mowers did not provide the quality cut and mulching we would like for our residential customers and are no longer in use.  We look forward to continued advancement in commercial electrical equipment and hope to find better commercial mowers in the future.  In the off-season, Jared can be found ski patrolling at Snowbasin, teaching his children to ski and trying to convince his wife that skiing is fun.
